Meet the team at Island Bílaviðgerðir

We’re a close-knit team of mechanics who live and breathe cars—even after hours. We keep improving and always look for the most cost-effective and safest solution for each repair.

Island Bílaviðgerðir ehf. was founded in 2020 by Dawid, a mechanic with many years of experience. Michał and Tomasz soon joined, and we expanded from general mechanical work into electrical and electronic repairs, remapping, aluminium welding, and other specialist services. We keep improving—adding skills, experience, and equipment to meet the demands of modern cars.

DAWID (owner / mechanic)

Probably the busiest person in the workshop—outside work, he fine-tunes young classic cars.

Michał (lead mechanic)

The man with the laptop—tunes maps, diagnoses electrics, and modifies 4x4s after hours.

Aluminium welding (wheels, chassis, and other aluminium parts)
